Is it possible to release their scores and show the solution after all the students have taken the quiz. This will avoid answers being given to other students who have not taken the quiz.
It is also good to put the security to "yes" so that the questions and answers cannot be printed.

The only way to delay the release of scores is to set a Close date, after which students can no longer attempt the quiz. Then you can set scores to only be visible after the close date.
If you think setting 'secure' mode to yes makes it impossible to print questions, you are wrong. It just makes it harder.

How about the answers? Does your post refer only to scores or it includes the answers as well?

Look on the quiz settings form. There are a whole bunch of different settings to control what is visible before and after the close date: Adding/updating_a_quiz#Review_options_section.
