Video controls

I use wmv files well because that is what they were encoded in and I cant change that. I need to know how to show the playback controls for the videos in the lesson. I'm used the multimedia plugin and the video shows and plays just fine but the whole pressing spacebar or enter is rather weird and hard to figure out if you dont know anything about this kind of stuff I need the students to either autoplay or press play.

I highly recommend you download and install the Advanced FLV filter available on the Moodle downloads. I have found that it has better controls such as autoplaying and even allows the students to go full screen.

Secondly, I also recommend you convert any video you use to an FLV (Flash Video). Flash plays on 95% of the computers out there, plus it is cross-browser compatible. Here is a free tool you can use to convert any video to FLV.

Hope this helps.
