So, the priority for Moodle 2.1 will the the different activity modules. Both upgrading the existing modules, and adding some new ones.

If you want to use third-party Module X with Moodle 2.0, then you can do so as soon as the maintiners of Module X have updated it to work with Moodle 2.0.
