Moodle networking (MNet)

I've received some strange results when making, or attempting to make changes, to the peer settings in Moodle networking.
When I check a box under SSO (Identity or Service Provider), it may, or may not save the change. It seems if I check both 'Publish' and 'Subscribe' it works. However, if I select just one or deselect both, the changes are not applied. I also receive some php notices and/or warnings. This causes me to believe there is some trouble capturing the form results.
For now, I'll leave them both checked on both peers. However, I did not have this issue with version 1.9.5+. I'm currently using version 1.9.7+.
