Suggestions/Example of a Student Course Editor Role

Hello,
We are just new to Moodle and I've been asked to create a role for a Student Editor to not open be part of the course but assist with web forums, course content, files and the glossary. I have duplicated the student role and then added the Manage Activites Allow but then they can edit quiz settings, which isn't really preferred. Are there any examples/suggestions of roles out there? We are third party hosted so my access to anything is limited. Thank you in advanced!

When editing/updating an activity, click the tab "locally assigned roles"

Click the "teacher" link, then add your students. That makes them "teachers" of only that item. Their role on the rest of the course remains student.

Make a practice course, & a few dummy students, & try this out (make your practice course un-enrollable to keep others out).
