I've set up the attendance module for a course I'm teaching with multiple sections; however, when I take attendance, there is no drop-down for the individual groups (sections). I've enabled groups in settings (by clicking visible), but still nothing. Can anyone help?

I think the setting to enable the groups is "separate", not "visible". I have not used groups much, but it seems to be that you might have selected the wrong setting. It is worth a try to change it and see if you are successful.

yes I just set up a Meta course with separate groups (each gruop is a separate section) and then you will get a drop down menu on the top left side of all participants or the separate groups.
