I am using Moodle v 1.9+, the quiz mod v is 2007101509. Is it possible to upgrade the quiz mod version used in Moodle v 1.9.6, quiz mod v 2007101511.

Is there an upgrade path to do this? I believe there are changes to lib/tablelib.php.

Is it possible to do this?

The only sane way to do this is to upgrade the whole of your Moodle to 1.9.6 (or 7).

Since there are important security fixes on the 1.9 branch, you should do that anyway.
