E-Mail Notification - "Could not instantiate mail function"

Hi:

This morning I gave instructions for my first class to login and everyone encountered an error that prevented them from logging in.

After they filled out the acount information with their e-mail they received the following error message:

" Could not instantiate mail function"

" Tried to send e-mail but failed"

No one received an e-mail.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue.  I had planned to get all my classes logged in today but I am now on hold.  Thanks.

Does your php.ini file have the correct address for your SMTP server?

Please ensure that your 'SMTP' parameter is set up in the php.ini file. If the ERROR still persists, It's better to talk to the network administrators.

I had this problem for the past 3 days and Now, after talking to network admin, MAIL's are working fine. He just removed my IP from his SPAM settings.

Hope this helps! smile
