Moodle version 1.9.6
There are three types of course that I wish to have:
- The majority are open to everyone with a logon (not guests) - default role of student
- A small handful are open to anyone with the key (as a guest)
- Some are only open to people with both a login and the key
For #1 I don't want the students to have to enrol themselves - it should be hidden from them. They should still be prompted for a key for #2 and #3. The front page should also be open.
What is the best way to set this up? If I have the default role as "Authorised User" then they have lots and lots of enrolling to do. If it's set to "Student" then they can get directly into courses which require an enrolment key.
