Modifying the location field name; suppressing field names

Is it possible to change the 'location' field name? We would like to call it 'session'.

Ideally, we would also like to suppress the 'venue' field from appearing if possible, but this is less important.

You can use Moodle's built in language editing.

On your home page (as admin) click the Language, then Language editing links in the Site Admin menu.

Then click the Edit words or phrases link at the top, scroll to the bottom of the dropdown and find the facetoface.php.

Locate the words you want to change and change away!

Hi Martin,

That will be possible very soon.

I'm currently testing a new version of the Face-to-face module which makes these three fields (location, venue and room) configurable. You can choose which ones you want, rename them, add some more, etc.

That is exactly what I was looking for! All our classes are in the same 2 classrooms, so Location *or* Venue but not both. Room is good.
