I created a rather long quiz and was checking it out in Firefox stupidly assuming that it work work well in Internet Explorer. Got stung there. I had to scramble and loaded Firefox temporarily onto 24 notebooks. I assumed it was a problem with running at my school.
Just to make sure, I thought that I should check it out at home. Just did. Bummer, it doesn't work here either.
Could someone have a look see?

I just tried the quiz in IE8 and the questions did not show up. In Firefox the questions showed up.
When this happens to me it is usually bad code. I ran the quiz through the W3 Validator (using the Firefox Web Developer extension - you can download it free if you haven't got it) and, oops, there are 151 errors!
I would suggest you go through and try and eliminate the the errors (the first few seemed to be about "center" being undefined and end tags being ommitted - you might have repeated the same error throughout) and hope that will sort out the problem.

Hi Jeff,
You can also go directly to the W3C validator itself and check your pages.
Don't be freaked out by the number of errors: I've often found I just correct one thing and they all disappear.

Okay, I went in and fixed those tags. It worked.
I would still like to know how to detect those errors with the Web Developer.

Glad you got the quiz working.
In Firefox select: Tools>Web Developer>Tools>Validate Local HTML.
Hope it works. It is fun when you get the nice green "Validates" message!
