I can't get the single dollar signs to with jsmath. I have modified the javascript.php file to turn them on.
This should work $x^2-x$
1. Are your sure jsmath is working ( do you see jsmath box on page and does it parse any other tokens)?
2. Did you set js file as indicated in readme (share your copy?)
3. Do you have all other filters turned off and jsfilter turned on?

I came back after lunch Friday and everything was working. Even the graphs in Stack. Must have been Gremlins.
