A way to show student which assignments are completed?

A way to show student which assignments are completed?

Students say they are having trouble keeping track of which exercises they have completed. (They get to complete them in any order.)

Is there any way to have Moodle check off the assignments/quizzes a student has completed -- as a way of readily showing the ones that remain to be done?

Within each QuizPort, I see there is a way to know what remains yet to be done.

But can the front page be set to check off completed assignments?

Thanks,

As a workaround -- is there any way to assign to each student a SEPARATE copy of an checklist they could each use to check off the exercises as they complete them.

Clearly, they could all print out the same master copy, but, hey, this is an online course!

There is a rumor that the rumored Moodle 2.0 will provide a way to check off assignments as they are completed.

Gerald,

There may be some third-party modification that would do this, but I would suggest having students review their "Complete report" that is given in the "Activity reports". Students can see their own "Complete report" by viewing their profile, clicking the "Activity reports" tab, and then the "Complete report" link.

This report gives a lot of detail about what, when, and how, students have been doing in the course.

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it should help students see what they have done and what is left.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Scott! That is really helpful. Moodle has many features, and it takes a while to learn about some of them.

Thanks for your help.
