We have had a lot of requests from teachers for this feature: They would like to be able to print all submitted assignments easily, ideally just from pressing one button. I tried searching Moodle.org, and the closest thing I found was the patch to download all assignments with the press of one button. It is relatively easy to print multiple files from the desktop for most operating systems.
Apparently, this patch (or a similar one) might be incorporated for Moodle 2.0, based on this tracker issue. Please go and vote for its inclusion in Moodle 2.0, if you think this feature useful.
Any other solutions for this problem that you know of?
