Has anyone ever used SLIDERS for answers in a quiz question. A picture of a slider is attached. The idea is that the student is to mark a point along the continuum between two extremes. Thanks.
i am looking for such a feature too.
although i doubt that it make sense anyway, but the customer is always right.

I don't have an answers - just to say I could use such a feature in Music technology with students saying where instruments are in the stereo picture - hope you get an answer!

I guess that it should be possible for the current numeric question type. I have seen the use of slide bar in some websites. So the remaining work is to write a javascript that converts the location of the button to the answer box, then the numeric answer is graded.
This is a good one that I've used before (not in moodle, but on websites that I've built). Clean code, with clear instructions on how to use & modify. Requires that the end-user have javascript enabled.
