I'm trying to track which materials a student has or has not viewed and other statistics such as the number of views etc.
I've found in datalib.php methods for logs such as get_log
get_usercourselog and another method for getting the daily logs. However i have no idea as to what kind of parameters these methods should be passed. The user and course ids are self explanitory but how do should i form the selector and date parameters in the get_logs(.......) function.
Does this method return an array or something similar with the user and course ids along with information related to the items, courses viewed and so on.
Has anyone had any success in trying to use these methods.
