problem uploading and downloading images

i can upload and download files on moodle except for image files. uploading an image seems working but downloading doesn't.

I tried to enable/disable slashargument as in the FAQ but nothing

I'm using moodle under linux with apache 1.3 and php4.

can someone help me or give me any idea (i'm going crazy about it)?

What happens when you try to download an image (that 'doesn't')? Try checking the apache error log immediately after you have done this. There may be an error happening that you are not seeing on the screen.
