Hi all - - I have been having issues some major with my Moodle Html editor – I have taken over the admin of a Moodle site: http://www.buildabridge.net/university (in a voluntary capacity)
The HTML editor suddenly stopped working – you could access the page but none of the icons were appearing – I researched the forums and the best solutions seemed to be to replace the lib folder. This made no difference. Coincidentally it has been decided to migrate the Moodle to another domain so I did a fresh install of Moodle on the new domain and copied over the Moodledata folder – but rather then copying over the database I simply changed the new config.php to reflect the old database i.e. the new install was located on the same server as the old so I simply placed the database values of the old install into my new config.php and here is the interesting bit – the HTML editor we was still not working.
I assumed that it was something in the Moodledata folder however when I deleted any reference to the Moodledata in the config.php the editor it was still not working so the issue does not lie within the Moodledata folder – i.e. If I replace the reference to the old db with the new, blank, db, the editor works fine –
As you can see I have spent a lot of time on this issue and got no answer however and here is the big question:
If the problem occurs when I reference the old db, does the problem exist within the db itself?
Any input on this issue is much appreciated,
Kind Regards, Garrett
