I’m looking at seeking funding for a two week research scholarship in the USA, through my teachers’ union. I have two possible themes:
"Binomial blogs, triangular tweets and facebook functions: the potential of social software for collaborative learning in mathematics". (this is where Moodle comes in)
And
“Designing curriculum delivery for dyslexia: the potential of voice recognition and text-to-speech software”.
These are extensions of work I carried out for my Master of Education degree with the Open University, completed a few years ago.
I need to establish a link with a school or research institute in the USA – and wondered if anyone might be able to suggest someone who might be interested in helping me out. I would want to spend some time observing and interviewing, at some point between October 2010 and May 2011.
