Choice does some odd things now :(

I have upgraded to 1.4+ and also upgraded my Apache and PHP to the latest versions. However, my students pointed out to me that the results of a choice I recently put up (after the 1.4+ upgrade) were not being displayed.

I checked, and it said 9 people had responded - so far, so good. I clicked on 'view 9 responses' and saw that only I had responded. I then notced that most of the user images displayed in the 'not answered yet' column were broken links.

I tried cliking on some of the links. Only the teachers reported the correct users. The others reported that 'xxxxxx is not enrolled in this course', with xxxxxx being a random user not enrolled in this course.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi Richard,

was the choice inside a course or on the site homepage?

Could you try to upgrade to Moodle 1.4.1 and see if the problem persists? It would be difficult to hunt a bug in 1.4+ as it was not one of the official named releases but just a nightly snapshot on the way to 1.4.1.
