When we have a student transfer from one section to another in our SIS, the student is dropped from the first section (as expected) and enrolled in the new section (as expected), but any completed assignments or grades are lost as they were tied to the original section (not desired). So has anyone determined a method for saving the work (without doing restores from class backups which would be a maintenance nightmare for our small staff) of a student who is dropped from a class and move it to their new class?
