Hi. I tried searching, but I can't seem to come up with the right term to help and I'm not sure this the right forum.
We recently replaced our electronic reserve system with files in Moodle. Is there a way to find out how many times a file (pdfs, docs and similar files) has been accessed? I've been keeping the apache logs and then doing a search for files being downloaded via file.php. Is there another way built in to Moodle?
Files (not urls) accessed with /mod/resource/view.php open via /file.php, right? But files can be directly accessed via /file.php?
Hey,
If you only need to check it visually, you can go to Reports > Activity reports to see how many times resources have been accessed.
I hope this helps.
