Enrolment

I am new to Moodle and my team wants to use it to house all of our training program data. We will be doing a lot of online training as well as in class training. What I wanted to know is if Moodle course registration can be used for both online classes AND in-class courses.

How can you set up a course in Moodle to be just for an in-class format?
