<id> couturee </id> should match to the id number of the user usually a number like a student ID number.
Looking at the conformance summary in the IMS enrollment plugin I don't see password listed. I suspect it might not support it. As Adam mentioned, I suspect most use this with LDAP for authentication (we do).
