Hi Folks
Im running a moodle site on a Linux vps with Eukhost. It has 512 MB memory. Im finding the site occasionally crashes due to memory usage. It is only used by a couple of dozen students. Could anyone give me any suggestions on what i could do to improve the performance?
Thanks
Neil
Not to be flippant, but "get more RAM" is really my initial thought. 512MB is not much RAM to run a LAMP stack, and I am not at all surprised that you're running out.

Yep, get more ram! 512MB is rather small. Also talk to the guys in the Eukhost forums, Ive had dealings with them before and on the whole I've found them to be usually quite knowledgable and friendly.
cheers folks. Ive got to say, they have been very good. Thought there may have been a software tweek before i go down the route of more dosh
