We are a support as well as a training division, so I wish to setup my Moodle with two different looks upon login. So if student A logs in he will see his resources let’s say a news and QnA forum and a directory for the A group students, and then if Student B logs in he will see his resources….
To accomplish this I use the “hide” feature and assign overrides … which seems to work well
(To do this I create a new role in the system called A student ... to do this I click on the existing default student and select the “duplicate role” and rename it to Student A and I do the same for student B) (This is the only way I can get the different looks of the site to work for the different students)
I want all the courses to use an enrolment key and only once they have entered an enrolment key should they be enrolled to the course. But what is happening is all students on the site are automatically being enrolled into all courses.... how do i fix this?
I do not know where I have gone wrong and reading the forums im starting to get very dizzy lol... is it because of the way I set it up? Can anyone please help?
