I was wondering if it was possible to put code in the HTML editor to produce rollover images? I have been fiddling about with some code produced in Frontpage, but the HTML editor doesn't like it. It's most likely I am botching it as I really don't know what I am doing!
If anyone has done this I wonder if they would be kind enough to share the code they used?
Thanks so much in advance.
Thanks for the reply!
So rollover buttons are 1990's? I see I'm not up on web fashion! But I'm glad you said that because if you say it isn't dead simple I'd probably best not do it.
What is the state of the art then - just simple links?
It is possible - although current HTMLArea has an old bug with event handlers...
Image plugin of moodle 2.0 in tinymce has already an Advanced tab where you can give images for mouseover and mouseout effects.
If you disable HTMLArea from your profile it is possible to give event handlers also with HTMLArea.
Using css (class or style for hover effects) might work as well just like Howard said. In these forums moodle adds X to event handlers so they won't work here...
