Am using Moodle 1.9.4+
Do you mean that % display in the gradebook had changed, and that a student who saw 100% before, is now seeing 300% (for example)?
Is it possible to see a screenshot of your grader report (with %) and Cat and Items interface?
Thank you for looking into this. Here is the student's grade screen. This is my test account where I have answered 4 questions out of 4. There are about 20 questions in this lesson and the scores add up to about 35.

You took "Re-requisite" quiz, correct?
Does it have 4 questions each worth 1 points (4 total), or 20 each worth random number of points (35 is the possible maximum)?
Please go to the Lesson > Update this lesson button. What do you have for Maximum grade there?
You can try to set it to 4 (or 35).
Screens #3 and 4 are for admins, and they affect the set up of all gradebooks in your installation, but do not affect calculations in individual courses (I think you went to Site Administration)
Instead you need to go to your individual course homepage (LEMMA) and add Administration block there, if it is missing. Click on Grades link and locate Categories and Itesm interface from 'Choose and Action" menu.
Hi Elena, I went to the course grade page as you suggested and was able to make the changes I needed to. The weightings had been set previously by a colleague - the weightings were correct at the time, but changing things elsewhere had interacted with them in a confusing way! I think I have sorted it out now, thank you so much for your help.
