This may be of interest to those using Hot Potatoes quizzes in Moodle: Halfbaked Software have just announced that their suite of apps becomes freeware. So far, if you wanted to create HotPot quizzes and use them in Moodle, you were not allowed to use the free version of the apps. You either had to buy a licence or release your quizzes outside Moodle as well (so that they were freely accessible on the web, without the need to log in). Now you can use the HotPots without those limitations, and - what's more - Martin and Stew have released their other app, Quandary, as freeware, too. A good excuse to have a look at this application
