Interesting - I was wondering about this the other day.
One of the nice things about 1.9 has been using a shared folder on the local network to allow teachers direct access to upload and manipulate files on the webserver. This reduces a lot of the extra time required if the user has to download, modify, upload the files each time.
It sounds like this would be impossible in 2.0 - is that correct?
