Hi all,

maybe this question is a newbie question.... but.....

I would like to know if it´s possible to running a presentation direcly from Moodle without the necessity of the students dowload the presentation to their PC´s.

I mean powerpoint --> file format accept for Moodle --> running in the Moodle site (like a kind of YouTube presentation).

Any help ? Thans in advanced !!!!!!

Yes. You can either use an online powerpoint sharing site like http://www.slideshare.net/ and embed into your Moodle
or - and I think this is much better: use this free program http://www.ispringsolutions.com/products/ispring_free.html which takes your powerpoint and all its animations etc and makes them into a flash file you can play in Moodle.
Oh and - it is not a newbie question: it is an advanced and very intelligent question!smile

I believe another option is to import your powerpoint into a lesson module which is an integral part of moodle. You have to save your ppt as html and then zip and import to a lesson. Note - you lose some functionality - such as the animations and perhaps some graphics. On the flip side - you can add questions, grades and other things available in lesson module.
