Brett, thanks for your recommendations, but I went with the 512 gb RAM which is more than enough for my limited use, the cost at $34.00 a month. It's the fully managed VS2 plan at http://knownhost.com/vps_packages.html which includes cPanel as well because I wouldn't have any idea what to do without it.
It's worked extremely well for me, and what you say is true: If my site grows, with a VPS plan, it is possible to switch to a bigger plan with no hassles. Thanks again.
