Hi, where would you place general resourses that are used through out the course? For example, where would you post the course syllabus, general course guidelines etc? Is it possible to have a main menue area for each course that is similar to the main menue on the opening page?

In fact the social format has this already, but you're right - it's needed on topic and weekly formats too.

In the meantime use the first week/topic to store these resources.

Did it ever actually make it into version 1.0.6?  I'd also like to see this option for the topic & weekly formats as well.

Not quite, no.

Too much other stuff happened.
