Martin,

I tried to upgrade our production server from 1.3.1 to 1.4 and all seemed well till I logged in as admin and the upgrade script ran. A error occurred "Error 1060 Duplicate column name 'popup' "

Now my system is hung in the admin script mode when I log in, and none of the resource popup windows work in the class. To make matters worse, my automatic database backup overwrote the database I was using before the upgrade.

I need to get this working ASAP. Any help would be usefully

I fixed the problem. I temporarily changed the php memory limits for php, and I installed moodle version 1.4.1 instead of the version 1.4 that I originally installed for the upgrade. Logged in as admin and it healed itself. I will backup my databse to 2 locations before I do my next upgradesmile
