Upgrade from Moodle 1.1.1 to 1.4 possible?

Upgrade from Moodle 1.1.1 to 1.4 possible?

Some questions for those with more experience doing upgrade on Moodle. I have been happily using Moodle 1.1.1 for many months, but saw some of the new features in 1.3 and 1.4 of Moodle and I think upgrading is worth the effort.

Can you upgrade directly from 1.1.1 to 1.4 or should I upgrade sequentially to intermediate versions (e.g. 1.1.1 to 1.2, then 1.2 to 1.3?)

Also, any good tips and lessons learned during upgrades that experienced users could pass on?  Thanks

yes, it is possible to upgrade directly from moodle1.1.1 to 1.4. Only you need to upgrade your PHP and databse MySql version.PHP version should be 4.3 or more than that(php 5.0 is suggested).MySql version should be 3.23.58-1 or more than that.

That's not quite true. PHP 4.1 is still supported by all versions of Moodle.
