Please help me to help you, by doing one of the following:
  • EITHER: give me access to your Moodle site
  • OR: set up a copy of your QuizPort on my server
I would like to see exactly what settings you are using.

thanks
Gordon

Hi Rose,

This how to go about it:

Made a backup of the course with only the problem QuizPort.
First temporarily remove from your Files all course files that don't concern that QuizPort.
Then click on backup and only select the problem QuizPort: no users, no logs, no user files .... (see below). Put the backup zip file somewhere you can find it easily.

Go to Gordon's test site :

URL: http://bateson.kanazawa-gu.ac.jp/19/mysql/
Course: Course Fullname 101
Username: guestteacher
Password: quizportv09

In his site click on Restore, upload your backup zip file and restore it to his site.

Hope that's clear.

Hi again Rose,

Deborah's made me realise that the way I explained above is only possible if you have a commercial license and can backup and restore. If you don't, you have to upload your Hot Potatoes and related files (zip them all together in one folder first) to the Files area of Gordon's site, unzip them there and then recreate your QuizPort on Gordon's site.

Cheers,
Glenys
