Hi

I'd like to be able to hide the description of assignments until a certain date. When I set the 'available from' date, students are still able to open the assignment before that date - they just can't submit their assignment.

I'm using online text assignments because I want to be able to comment inline.

I know that the description can be hidden in assignments using advanced uploading of files, but you cannot comment inline with this type of assignment.

Any ideas?

You can comment on the students' work with Advanced Uploading of files though -save and send back to them - which is similar to "comment inline" if that's what you are wanting, Although I agree, online text is simpler.
