I have made a multilanguage course containing a number of lessons and a final quiz. In general it was possible, at least as long as I limit the course to 2 different languages. Though, have made the following observations concerning the different kind of questions within the lessons and the quiz.
I have attached a backup of a testcourse I made to show my observations.
Short Answer questions does not accept the correct answer as correct (see testlesson003)
Matching questions shows the text in both languages and does not accept correct matches as correct (see testlesson005)
Multiple Choice questions works correct - but the question text is limited to 255 characters. As the language codes <lang lang="en_US" format="auto"></lang> is 40 characters for each language, this soon limits the number of languages. (see question 1 in the quiz)
True/False questions works correct - but it seems that the "True/False" labels are chosen from the last of the stated languages. (see question 2 in the quiz)
Short Answer questions works correct if the answer is the same in the different languages, but if the answer is different in the various languages, it does not work (see questions 3 and 4 in the quiz)
Matching questions show both languages at the same time in the matches (see question 5 in the quiz)
Embedded Answers shows the correct language, but miscounts the results. With 2 languages each language is worth 1 point, but you only get credit for the one you answer in the language chosen.
This completes my observations.
Would it be an idea to connect the language to the lessons and quizzes instead of the questions within these modules?
