There are two new forums on the Japanese site, a Japanese Moodle discussion, and a general discussion forum.
If you want to browse them but are struggling with the kanji, you could try the following site:
You can paste in up to 100 kanji, then when you hold the mouse over the kanji, the meaning pops up. You have to set the site to Japanese to English first though.
There is also a forum in English on the Japanese Moodle section of moodle.org.
