Hello there,

a friend of mine had exactly the same problem as you described! Now, I've got some similar problem:

I am using Moodle 1.9.5 from the MoodleWindowsInstaller-latest-19.zip and the PHP plugin PHPEclipse for Eclipse. I have to admit that I am an absolute beginner in PHP! However, I'm trying my best.

My problem is that when I work with PHPEclipse and put a new file into the /moodle directory (which I read was the "localhost" directory, I hope I understood that correctly), I can view the file in my browser (and also in the Eclipse Webbrowser), but when I modify the PHP file and refresh the browser view, I still see the old version of the file. Only when I rename the file do I get the updated version!!!

I suppose that it has got something to do with MySQL. In Moodle among Administration -> Database I receive the following text: "Your PHP MySQL library version 5.0.51a differs from your MySQL server version 5.1.33. This may cause unpredictable behavior." Could this be the reason for my problem?

Thank you for your help!
