Hi!
Newbie looking for some help here.
Trying to transfer our ppt training materials to our Moodle installation.
It works with Chris's sample zip file but when I tried exporting the sample ppt file to webpage using OO Impress, it does not work.
Is it even possible to import ppt created by OO Impress? It would be a shame if it can't because all our stuff are done with OO.
Thanks in advance for some advice!

Hi,
No OO. Tell all you know to vote for MDL-17413. Maybe we can get at least a way to import either text or images, like we can with a GIFT file, into a series of branch pages for Moodle 2.0.
If you are really brave there is always my nasty hack for importing images MDL-10513 (And I use OO impress to turn PPTs into images). Not recommended on a production server, but if you have a localhost, then you will not have to worry about breaking anything. Build the basic lesson/course on the hacked localhost, back it up and restore it to the production site.
Import_PowerPoint#See_also has more help or sorts. In 2006, I tried a hack for OO (was that OO 1.x?) for Moodle 1.6. But I have not revisited that in OO 3.x or Moodle 1.9.x.
Vote early and vote often
Sorry, it is a shame. Chris
