Trying out the 1.95 gradebook with weighted mean of grades selected, and noticed that I could not assign a weight to the category when I am first creating it. Once it exists, a weight can be assigned in the Full View of Categories and Items. Plus, if you go to edit an existing category, then the Item Weight option appears for that category.
In older versions, an item weight could be assigned when first creating the category as long as I had selected Weighted Mean of Grades. Is there a reason for the change?
