Can anyone tell me whether a PayPal transaction generates or includes an enrolment key with the confirmation e-mail to the student?
Or must the key be provided to the student manually outside of the PayPal transaction?
Thanks!

Think I answered my own question - answer is no, because student is automatically enroled if PayPal transaction is successful...so student has access immediately without further ado.
Neat!
The student is taken to the course homepage upon payment.
And, yes.
If you want to try it for yourselves go to http://test.moodle.com and pay for the Pay for Access course (fee is $2 US). This is a good way to see how it works while at the same time making a little donation to Moodle.
Right.
And as I understand it, the administrator can elect to set the system to automatically generate enrolment notification e-mails to the student, and/or the teacher, and/or the administrator.
The student should be aware of any failure, if for no other reason than that they cannot access the course. (I expect, though, that they'd get a hint from PayPal before then...)
