Seb, this sounds like a "feature request", you may want to add it to module.org/bugs. In the meanwhile your students can get a reasonable summary of their progress through a set of lessons by clicking on the Lessons link which appears at the top of any "lesson" page. This lists all the lessons in the course together with their current grades (I'm pretty sure it has grades...)
