Removing the profile HTML filter temporarily with version 1.05

OK, I dont know if this is even possible, but is it possible to remove the filter which removes things like shockwave flash objects and the header tag? And if I remove it, edit what I want and re-apply it, would the shockwave flash objects be gone? I have been looking for over an hour and was wondering if i missed something....
