I have a situation where I need experienced users to help guide me.
Our environment: Moodle 1.9.4+, all students manually downloaded, all sorted in different groups.
I want to create a role similar to a parent role, but without the manual labour related to that process. This person needs to be able to view/export the logs and grades of students in their own group. This person will log in to each course with a course key that automatically puts them in their own group. If I create a role similar to that of non-editing teacher (with perhaps additional restrictions and hidden upon creation) should I assume that this person will only be able to 'see' the logs and grades of course participants in their own group?
