Database authenticaton insists on confirmation email??

Hello there. I'm new here, but I've searched the forums and don't seem to see this exact issue.

Using the lastest install of Moodle as a new install, I have tried to set up database user authentication from my PostNuke database. Moodle appears to recognize the login, but insists that the account must be confirmed (and refers to a non-existent email sent to a blank email account).

Anyone seen this or know what to do about it?
