Hello
I just spent some time finding out why a table background image could not be displayed in a cloze question, and also in a general document - although it was displayed initially in the editor.
The answer is simple:
The editor changes uppercase letters in the file paths of the style-attribute when it parses the table-code. Case sensitive servers will then not find the image anymore.
I removed the uppercase letters from the directory where the images are located and voilà: table-background works!
I didn't know where else to post this bug, so if someone else know a better place, please forward!
Cheers

Re: table background image disappearing? - check case in path!

Thank you for the information.
I also have a problem with a background image in a table, in a topic on the front page. The image is smaller than the table but I cannot set background-repeat:no-repeat because the editor keeps taking it out. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks
Ed

thank you, thank you! I could not figure out why it worked in one course but not another! It worked in each course where the image folder began with a lowercase.
