Hi
I just heard of this moodle site from a friend. Sounds exciting and very useful in teaching, so I went into the net, surfing for 2 hrs, but still I am totally lost with this new moodle tool. Can someone give me an overview on how to download the moodle file into my personal computer at home. I went to the flexknowlogy site, grab the zip and extract the file but it seems not to work. Anyway, I thinking of using this to my Science Y7-10 classes in NSW.
Thanks,
Gina

Hi there. Although you can download and set up moodle on your own computer, if you want to use it with your classes it might be easier to trial a free online version too - some places offer free moodles and especially if you are not technically minded as I am not, and if you just want to try it out, it might be worth itI - try http://key2schools.com/ or else http://beta.globalclassroom.us/teachers.php or else http://ninehub.com/ or http://sqooltools.com/

i offer completely free moodle hosting, and there is a message in this thread listing what i need to set up your own site for you.
just email me the info listed on my earlier post and i'll have you set up with your own moodle site within a day or two.

Dear Tennesseebill,
Can you still help me setting up my own moodle site? Sorry it's been a long time to answer this. I've been using 1.9 version and some of my files are missing. So I want to start with a new version and maybe a new site.
Thank you,
Gina
