Hi,

Had a search, but can't find a thread for this problem.

Occasionally, forum digests are sent attributing the posting/message to the wrong user.

I've attached screen captures showing the email digest incorrectly attributing the posting to 'Lucie Burnett' and the original forum post correctly attributing the email to 'Alison Williams'

This has happened a number of times recent.
I have also had a report of a journal comment alert being attributed to the wrong user.

I have analysed and optimised the db tables (aware that mysql can be fragile)

It seems its just the mail out that is getting tangled.
Moodle 1.8x / php 5.25 / apache / linux / mysql

Anyone point me in the right direction
